Approach
Staff development workshops incorporate educational and therapeutic approaches of: Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen (Body-Mind CenteringTM), Sally Goddard (Institute of Neuro-Physiological Psychology), Svetlana Masgutova (Institute of Movement Development and Reflex Integration), Harald Bloomberg (Rhythmic Movement Training) and Bette Lamont (Developmental Movement Center). In the emergent field of somatic education and therapy, these approaches regard babies’ developmental movement patterns and sensori-motor reflexes as nature’s design for organizing and integrating body and mind for optimal function.
