Women can meet life challenges with the support of individualized bodywork sessions. Setting her own personal goals, a woman can receive help for conception, for birth prepartion, post-partum and mothering, in career and family changes, through menstrual cycles, menopause and aging, and for life losses.

 

 

 

During the everyday miracle of being human, we have the capacity to create life within ourselves and to bring ourselves and our babies into the world. Yet, at times, we respond to stress by constricting or by collapsing.

Through somatic therapy, we can have freedom of more choices. We can experience the intrinsic well-being of our cells, our dynamics systems and our whole self. We can move into healing relation with ourselves and our loved ones.

Somatic therapy of resonant touch and developmental movement is uniquely relevant for babies and mothers. MamaBebe draws on developmental movement as the wellspring of body and mind integration for all humans. Women find they deeply connect with their babies in developmental movement for birth and mothering.

 

Childbearing Women

Women can prepare for conception by clearing old emotional and physical restrictions. In fostering her own earthy spirit, a woman opens to receive the vital spark of new life.

Pregnant women can receive gentle, effective support for the challenges of pregnancy and to prepare for natural birth. A woman may work one-on-one, or may work together with her partner or her birth team.

Sessions may include movement, touch, sounding, body-based imagery or finding release in physical or emotional challenges. Deeply held beliefs, feelings and physical symptoms that are inter-related may be released in private sessions.

Through movement and mindfulness, we can deepen in trust and in healing relation with ourselves, our partners and the processes of childbearing. In loving attention and non-judgement we can intimately know ourselves and our beloved ones.

    Mother’s Post-partum Recovery

    Birth and mothering are profound life changes for women. Mothers can meet the physical and emotional challenges of childbearing, childrearing and post-partum recovery with gentle support of craniosacral and somatic therapies.

    After the baby is born, a woman may recuperate and find help for nursing and parenting.

     

    Women can find balance in the entwined relationship of mother and baby. Through deeply integrating body-mind movement and release activities, stresses of the body and mind can shift into ease and action.
