As a dancer, I already have a very tuned physical connection to my muscle, my weight balancing and to staying physically active in pregnancy. As a first time mom, I had a lot of fears and concerns about how to stay healthy during my pregnancy. Catherine gave me confidence and support to work through my fears and learn to trust my body. I strongly believe that without her, my pregnancy, labor and deliver and post-partum experience would not have gone so smoothly. I highly recommend Catherine to all pregnant women. She certainly exceeded my expectations and especially helped to make my labor and delivery a rewarding and healthy experience.

I learned to use my breathing to move through my contractions; to let the intensity move through my breath into the earth. My favorite part was dancing and moving with my baby and body. I used the hip movements during my labor to help me work with my contractions and let go of the tension.

The exercise that involved the balls and softening into the balls really helped during childbirth. Learning to let the pain flow out helped tremendously. Yoga helped at the beginning stages of labor. It helped me feel strong.

Catherine helped me feel very confident in my body, mind and instincts.

Toning helped me focus on pelvic sling (muscles) as well as explore the power of connecting sound with body.

You are to be commended for your ability to sense my needs and go with the flow instead of forcing the material/content on me. Your gentle, caring style is profound.

Going into my animal body was very relaxing and comforting. I feel now that my body knows how to birth.

I didn’t think I would vocalize during the birth; I felt uncomfortable doing it. But in labor I closed my eyes and moaned the whole time. I really went inward and let my body do what it needed to do. Birth was intense but it was the funnest thing I’ve every done.

The activity of undulating our spines really helped during labor.
