Content & website manager, PT

Job summary 

MamaBebe LLC is seeking a content & website manager to freelance part-time with our team for 3-5 hrs/week. This role works closely with the owner/service provider and the social media coordinator to carry out overall marketing strategy, take part in the upcoming launch of our newly revamped website, and to update the site as needed going forward. This is a hybrid position; mostly remote with occasional in-person meetings.

For the first month this position may have additional hours (up to 6-8/wk) while on-boarding. Increased hours are also possible for occasional special projects.

MamaBebe offers high quality, hands-on integrative therapies for women throughout their lifespan, with specialization in support for childbearing women, babies and young children. 

MamaBebe is a micro-business with a small team; the owner/service provider plus two staff, each PT. Services are provided in the Twin CIties, MN.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Responsible to manage web content and projects related to the company’s website
  • Facilitate publishing content to website and work with site host/developer to assess and resolve any technical challenges in displaying the content, interfacing with SiteGround
  • Publish blogs or newsletter 1-2/month
  • Develop & carry out email campaigns 3-6/annually, coordinating with team members
  • Make occasional site page additions or changes
  • Edit owner generated content 
  • Edit images & video for blog & website use
  • Ensure consistent style, accuracy and digital best practices for new content
  • Follow processes and procedures for web publishing and development
  • Optimize content for search engines with SEO, metadata & tagging
  • Carry out marketing strategy plans & content calendar with team
  • Coordinate with social media coordinator
    • Cross post between blog to social media
    • Add landing pages for social media promos occasionally 
    • Provide additional support as needed
  • Attend working sessions to identify, plan, prioritize, and analyze needs with key stakeholders. Typical calendar:
    • Monthly Social Media production team meeting (3 person)
    • Twice monthly website/blog team meeting (2 person); additional meetings to start
  • Communicate effectively with team members 
  • Maintain confidentiality for client families
  • Responsibilities may evolve, with additional tasks & hours as needed

Required qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience with WordPress Divi
  • Familiar with associated WP apps and a quick learner
  • Minimum of 3 years in digital marketing and content-related roles: writing, editing, and publishing consumer content for varied forms of interactive media (web, social, email, mobile)
  • Proficient in image & video editing
  • Must have a strong technical background in addition to traditional writing skills and creativity required to develop responsive, engaging original content for target demographics 
  • Knowledge of content marketing best practices and trends
  • Minimum of 3 yrs in SEO & keyword optimization for website pages & blogs
  • Minimum of 3 yrs experience in small, owner-operated businesses
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Self initiative & accountability in an informal work environment
  • Flexibility & adaptability 

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working with ClickUp or other project management systems and workflow tools
  • Experience working with Google Analytics 
  • Personal experience with integrative therapies
  • Direct experience or close support of childbearing, infant care and women’s health
  • Lives in Twin Cities metropolitan area
